What are Tailored Experiences with Diagnostic Data?
Tailored experiences are personalized tips, ads, and recommendations. It enhances Microsoft products and services for consumer needs. When you enable it, Windows collects information from the browser, apps, features, and more. It then offers content tailored just for you on the lock screen, Windows tips, and other related functions. Diagnostic data, on the other hand, allows Microsoft to get feedback from the customer. If you have seen prompts when using Windows which asks you about the experience, that’s one part of it. Customers can also send feedback anytime using Feedback Hub.
Should you turn off Tailored Experiences with Diagnostic Data?
That’s a debatable question, and there are two parts to it. First is the Tailored experiences. If you do not want Microsoft to show ads, recommendations, etc., choose to turn it off. It is entirely your choice. However, we do recommend enabling Diagnostic Data collection. The most significant advantage of using this is that
You can choose to delete any collected data.Control the feedback frequency from Automatic to Once a day or once a week to never.

There are multiple ways to turn it off. You can visit the Settings, and turn it off. However, if you are planning to do it for multiple computers, especially on the remote computer, use Windows Registry and Group Policy editor.
1] Via Settings
2] Using Windows Registry
Open Registry editor (regedit in the run prompt) Navigate to: Change the value of DWORD TailoredExperiencesWithDiagnosticDataEnabled to 0 if you want to turn it off. If it’s 1, it means its turned on
