Microsoft included the Graphing functionality in the Calculator app to create graphs and calculate numbers. It is recommended to backup registry files or create a System Restore point before you begin.
Disable Graphing in Calculator on Windows 11/10
Using GPEDIT
To disable Graphing Mode in Calculator on Windows 11/10 using the Group Policy Editor, follow these steps-
Open the Local Group Policy Editor on your computer. Although there are several methods, you can use the Run prompt to do that. Press Win+R to open the Run prompt, type gpedit.msc, and hit the Enter button to get started. After opening the Local Group Policy Editor, navigate to this path- On the right-hand side, you will see a setting called Allow Graphing Calculator. By default, it is saved as Not configured. Double-click on it, select Disabled and click on Apply and OK buttons to save the change. Following that, you won’t find the Graphing feature in the Calculator app.
Using REGEDIT
To turn off Graphing in Calculator on Windows 10 using the Registry Editor, follow these steps-
Let’s check out these steps in detail. At first, open the Registry Editor. For that, search for regedit in the Taskbar search box, and click on the corresponding result. Now, navigate to this path- On the right-hand side, you can see a REG_DWORD value called AllowGraphingCalculator. If not, right-click on the Calculator key, select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value, and name it as AllowGraphingCalculator. Then, make sure that the value is set as 0. If not, double-click on it, set the value as 0, and click the OK button to save the change. That’s all!
