Windows Update error code 0x80070002

1] Disable your security software temporarily

To run System File Checker, open Command Prompt with Administrator rights and then execute the command “sfc /scannow.” Restart your system after the scan completes.
4] Configure Windows Update related Services status
In an elevated Command Prompt, run the following commands: It will ensure that the required Services are available when the computer boots.

6] Sync Date and Time
You need to have a correct Date and Time set on your computer to access various Windows 10 services.
Open the Settings app.Navigate to Time & Language > Date & time.On the right side panel, turn the toggle On for Set time automatically and Set time zone automatically.Click on Region & language on the left side panel.Make sure that the Country or region on the right side panel is the same as the country that you live.
